CREATIVE AGAIN... decorating with fruitless pear tree blossoms

Hello my lovely friends.  After a little over two months of having absolutely no desire or heart for
being creative, it's slowly but surely finding it's way back... back to my soul.

I'm discovering that I'm stronger than I ever imagined I could be... my girls and I are doing OK.
We still have a lot to overcome. We'll have to move some time in the next 2-6 months, and that
will be a big deal, but for now we're doing OK, and we'll take that road when it comes.  I truly can't
thank you all enough for your lovely words of encouragement and keeping us in your thoughts
and prayers... it's meant so very much to me.

Enough of that... let's move on to something a little more cheerful and uplifting. ;-)
The fruitless pear trees in our garden are blooming.  Fruitless pear trees are absolutely
one of my favorite trees.  I just love their blossoms... soooo pretty!  I've been waiting until
they just started to open to bring them inside the house to add a little spring cheer.

I placed some branches in a few of my vintage glass soda bottles.  I not only had fun decorating with
these beautiful blossoms, but photographing them as well.  I literally haven't taken any photos in over
two months.  I wasn't sure if I'd remember how to use my camera, but it all came back as if I never
put it down.  I just realized I used the word "fun"... can't believe it, but it's true... I actually had fun...
something I never thought I'd be able to truly do again. :-)

I added a large branch of the blossoms along with some vintage French book pages to the vintage
metal gate I have and just leaned it against the wall.  I tied the branch onto the gate with a pretty
ribbon with the word Family stamped on it.

I took lots and lots of photos.  I was really enjoying the creative process of it.  Hope you enjoy.......

I hope you have all been well.  I feel bad that I haven't been able to make it around to all
of your blogs or respond to all of your wonderful comments.  I'm still adjusting to the crazy
schedule that is now my crazy life... oh, did I tell you I got a job?  I'm now working at a local
sandwich shop.  Not what I expected to be doing at this stage in my life, but glad to have
the much needed supplemental income for now.  I'm still hoping to open an online shop, but
it's something that will take a bit of time to set up.  Hopefully, I will have it up and running
within the next six months or less... fingers crossed!

I hope you're all having a wonderful week!

'Til next time, my friends...

~ Jo :-)
